Overview:
This guide will cover how to order, and install a new filter from Roca Robotics in your Roca Sorter Max.
Tools Needed:
- H2.5 Bit from your toolkit
- Screwdriver
Potential Reason(s):
- Your filter life is at 20% or less
- Your filter has become physically damaged
- Your filter has visible debris inside it or is dirty.
Ordering New Filters:
- You can order a set of filters through your Roca Sorter Max's Menu on your Tablet, by selecting the blue 'Request' box.
- This will send Roca an automated shipping request to get new filters sent out right away.
- At Roca, we recommend requesting new parts when your part life reaches 20%. This will give you plenty of lead time to receive a new part and run your old part to 0% life for efficiency.
Changing the Filters:
- The filter in your Roca Sorter Max, is located behind the gantry arm and towards the right.
- Press in on the SharkBite connectors highlighted in red.
While pressing in on the SharkBite connectors, pull the clear pneumatics tubing out. - If you have difficulty getting to these connectors, you can also remove the clear pneumatics tubing from the SharkBite connection highlighted in yellow.
- If you have further difficulty, you can also remove the screw highlighted in green.
- Be sure to place the old filter and screw in a location you will remember for later.
- Install the new filter in the same way you removed the old one, press in on the SharkBite connectors, and insert the clear pneumatics tubing and re-attach the screw.
Make sure the small grey nub on the filter is facing to the left. - When you have finished, go back into the Menu on your Tablet, and select the red 'Reset' box. This will reset the life of your filter to 100%.
- Retrieve the old filter from where you saved them, and return them to us in the same box you received your new filters in. We will always provide a return label to do so.
We refurbish and repair all old parts to reduce waste, and thoroughly test each part before we ship it back out.
