Overview: Piston Replacement
Ordering a New Piston:
- You can order a piston through your Roca Sorter's Menu on your Tablet, by selecting the blue 'Request' box.
- This will send Roca an automated shipping request to get a new piston sent out right away.
- At Roca, we recommend requesting new parts when your part life reaches 20%. This will give you plenty of lead time to receive a new part and run your old part to 0% life for efficiency.
Steps to take:
- Disconnect reed switch cable from piston.
- Disconnect the pneumatic tubing connecting to the piston. To disconnect the tubes, you must push in on the PTC (push to connect) connectors while pulling out on the tube.
- After clear tubing and the reed switch have been disconnected, hold the main housing of the piston securely and loosen and remove the two thumbscrews securing the piston in position. Afterwards the piston will be free to be removed.
- Secure the replacement piston with the same thumbscrews in the same manner.
- The clear pneumatic tubing can be pushed into where it was originally removed. Follow up with a slight pull just to ensure it is secured in position securely.
- Reconnect the reed switch cable
PLEASE NOTE THAT YuGiOh Pistons are mirrored but all the steps are the same
