Overview:
This guide will cover how to order, and install new filters from Roca Robotics in your Roca Sorter.
Potential Reason(s):
- Your filter life is at 20% or less
- Your filters has become physically damaged
- Your filters have visible debris inside them or are dirty.
Ordering New Filters:
- You can order a set of filters through your Roca Sorter's Menu on your Tablet, by selecting the blue 'Request' box.
- This will send Roca an automated shipping request to get new filters sent out right away.
- At Roca, we recommend requesting new parts when your part life reaches 20%. This will give you plenty of lead time to receive a new part and run your old part to 0% life for efficiency.
Changing the Filters:
- The filters in your Roca Sorter, are located in the back of the machine.
- Press in on the SharkBite connectors highlighted in orange and blue.
While pressing in on the SharkBite connectors, pull the gray pneumatics tubing out. - The colors on your filters may differ, and are not important.
- Be sure to place the piece of tubing that hangs off of the top filter, and the filters themselves, in a location you will remember for later.
- Install the new filters in the same way you removed the old ones, press in on the SharkBite connectors, and insert the gray pneumatics tubing. Make sure the small grey nub, silver tape, or silver ring (inside VacuForce filters) on both filters are facing to the right.
- When you have finished, go back into the Menu on your Tablet, and select the red 'Reset' box. This will reset the life of your filters to 100%.
- Retrieve the old filters from where you saved them, and return them to us in the same box you received your new filters in. We will always provide a return label to do so.
We refurbish and repair all old parts to reduce waste, and thoroughly test each part before we ship it back out.
